Historic Rooms

Let the mechanical click of your room keycard serve as an invitation to step into our island's history, leaving behind the routines and worries of everyday life. Enjoy stunning bayside views from rooms purpose-built for travelers who favor the quirky over the quotidian, and where every balcony is a window to a celebrated seaborn past. Our Historic Rooms are ideal for guests who believe that a creaking floorboard or fleeting café laughter add character without compromising convenience, who favor communal energy over quiet seclusion, and who welcome an array of pleasant sensory flourishes delivered right to their shorestep.

Admire the bayside vistas and imagine the historied stories playing out before your eyes. And once your mind’s eye has finished its adventure in the past, set out on one of your own in the present. Explore our incredible island, then retreat to charming accommodations with details befitting the colorful characters who gave your room its namesake. Though the rooms have been updated and modernized, cherished traditions remain—shared bathrooms in rooms 2 and 4, charmingly wavy floorboards, and the occasional joyful clink of glasses from the café below.

Finally, we should note that we are happy to arrange alternative guestroom types for travelers with pets or children under the age of 12.
